Hi Sheelob,
I don't know Spanish either, I was using google to do all the work of translating. In fact, I got tired of logging out, and going back and forth from here to google, so I opened internet explorer in another window, so I could just alt tab between here and google, when I wanted something translated. I thought all those people who responded to Melodicas' sprechen sie deutsch topic actually were fluent in German, and it wasn't until I translated some messages from google, that I found out they didn't. I think Melodica and inessle are the only ones who really speak it and don't have to rely on google for translation.

Hi Wonderwoman. I'm pretty fluent in Spanish, well I think I am, since I've spoken the language for about 20 years or so! And I have lots of people to speak it with, since this is Mexico and Spanish is our official language. Smiles. And as for my English, I've been studying it for about roughly four years so I'm kind of fluent in it as well. And as for the google translations, I don't think google translates very well but at least makes things more or less understandable. It's like, if I wrote this in Spanish and then used google to translate it into English I think it wouldn't sound as natural as it sounds now. But anyways, I think I'll go now. Oh and by the way, nice to meet ya. Take care. Joaquín
